The Department of Psychology at the University of Maine and the VA Maine Healthcare System invite applications for a jointly appointed position. This tenure-track assistant professor position entails a nine-month, one/one teaching load with dedicated time for research at the UMaine Psychology Department and twelve months at 5/8th time (20 hours clinical service with 1/8 for research) at the VA Maine as a Clinical Psychologist. This position is ideal for candidates interested in a career that integrates clinical practice, supervision, research, and teaching. Current VA psychologists who are interested in expanding their involvement in research and teaching are also strongly encouraged to apply.
