The Student Research Grant Program supports graduate student research in the field of addiction psychology. Four Student Research Grants of up to $1000.00 each will be awarded each year. DEADLINE: All application materials must be submitted no later than 11:59PM EST May 1st each year. 

No part of the Student Research Grant can be used for indirect costs or institutional overhead. Indirect costs include, but are not limited to, administrative costs of the university and the usual criteria established for grant overhead or other costs, such as laboratory space. Grant money must be devoted to the active research project. The grantee determines how they would like to spend the money, based on their research project, which has been approved by Division 50 of the American Psychological Association. Institutions may not automatically deduct any fees from this allowance without the grantee's approval. Early Career Psychologist (ECP) Grant Program

The ECP Research Grant Program supports ECP research in the field of addiction psychology. For 2022, up to three ECP Research grants of up to $5000.00 each will be awarded. At least one of these awards will be diversity-focused. DEADLINE: All application materials must be submitted no later than 11:59PM EST September 11th each year. 

No part of the ECP grant funds can be used for indirect costs or institutional overhead. Indirect costs include, but are not limited to, administrative costs of the university and the usual criteria established for grant overhead or other costs, such as laboratory space. Grant money must be devoted to the active research project. The grantee determines how they would like to spend the money, based on their research project, which has been approved by Division 50 of the American Psychological Association. Institutions may not deduct any fees from this allowance without the grantor's approval. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that their organization will allow such a submission.
