Congrats to Sarah Miller, a PhD student in the Department of Psychology at the University of South Carolina (USC), who has matched for internship to Denver Health Medical Center in their Family Oriented Resilience, Growth, & Empowerment Track. This internship will enable Sarah to continue her efforts to improve treatment outcomes for adolescents and emerging adults with Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Sarah's dissertation explores barriers to accessing Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) among adolescents and young adults in South Carolina. She also recently completed a year-long fellowship in the USC Integrated Care for Recovery (I-CaRe) Center focused on prevention and treatment of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).
