The Clinical Teleconferences on Addiction Treatment series is resuming. It is put on by the Society of Addiction Psychology (APA Division 50).
This Friday Bruce Liese, Ph.D., ABPP, will be speaking on “CBT for Diverse Patients with Diverse Addictions”. Dr. Liese, a former President of our Division, is the co-author (with Aaron Beck) of the classic “Cognitive Therapy of Substance Abuse” and the more recent “Group Cognitive Therapy for Addictions”. He is Clinical Director, Cofrin Logan Center for Addiction Research and Treatment, Professor of Family Medicine and Psychiatry, and Courtesy Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Kansas.
