The Addiction Research Center at University of Wisconsin-Madison is hiring a full-time research specialist to work on our R01-funded mHealth risk prediction study for opioid use disorder.
This position is ideal for someone who:
Wants to gain research experience before applying to clinical psychology or related PhD programs in the next few years
Has strong R programming skills or wants to develop them (with support!)
Is interested in conducting research related to and learning about substance use disorders, machine learning, risk prediction, mHealth, and passive sensing
Primary responsibilities/opportunities include:
Remote data collection from participants in opioid medication-assisted treatment programs
Day-to-day operational infrastructure related to the research study
Professional development (e.g., attending and participating in lab meetings to discuss academic research)
