The Journal of Studies on Alcohol and Drugs is searching for an editor to succeed the current editor, Dr. Thomas Babor, at the end of his current term of service. Responsibilities of the editor include the following:
1) shaping and directing the overall editorial scope of the journal;
2) managing the peer-review process; and
3) attracting and sustaining the engagement of experts in the alcohol and other drug fields to be editorial board members and reviewers.
Candidates should send the following:
- a letter describing their qualifications and interest in the position and
- a curriculum vitae.
Selected candidates subsequently will be invited to submit more detailed plans. The application information should be sent no later than October 1, 2022.
