Convention Highlights Not to Miss:
· Presidential Panel: Navigating a Fraught Political Landscape as Addiction Psychologists
We know this is a challenging time for many in our field—especially students and early career professionals. This panel will offer a space to explore how to stay grounded in our values, support one another, and keep moving our work forward.
· SMART Recovery & 12-Step Meetings: SMART Recovery and 12-step meetings will be offered by Division 50 leaders and are open to all attendees in recovery.
· Early Career Investigator Poster Session & Social: A high-energy evening to celebrate emerging scholars and connect with colleagues from Divisions 50, 28, and NIAAA.
· Engaging Symposia and Skill-Building Sessions: This year's offerings range from the application of story circles in perinatal care to clinical pearls for next-steps in harm reduction treatment, and skills-building in sentiment analysis in R.
