Optimal Living Talks: Embodied Mindfulness- Somatic Practices for Pain + Addictive Behaviors

Join Dr. Jenifer Talley and Jill Satterfield for a day-long training focused on the intersection of pain and problematic behaviors such as substance misuse. There will also be an overview of integrative harm reduction psychotherapy principles and practices. Through guided experiential components, lively discussion and Q+A, this workshop will explore a variety of skillful means to work with the body and mind to heal the heart.

Each year, women are consuming more and more alcohol. What’s contributing to this? What are the unique challenges women are facing? Gabrielle Glaser and Jenifer Talley will be in dialogue with one another discussing the trends they are observing and solutions that are possible to help women feel empowered and more compassionate towards themselves.
