Seeking psychologist perspectives on working with primary care physicians!
You are invited to participate in research on collaboration factors between psychologists and primary care physicians (PCPs). Psychologist perspectives on interactions with PCPs have received little research attention, yet collaboration between psychological and medical professionals is increasingly emphasized. Participation may help inform collaboration training and practice for both disciplines. Though all eligible psychologists are encouraged to participate, this study is not looking to highlight the experiences of health-focused psychologists. Indeed, a goal of this research is to better understand how psychologists working in private practice, group practice, and community mental health settings perceive PCPs and view their interactions, especially referrals for mental health services.

Please participate if you are a licensed psychologist in either Canada or the U.S. (regardless of level or type of education), and work with individual clients in some capacity. Psychologists whose professional activities do not include interactions with individual clients are ineligible. Participants need not work in health-specific areas of psychology or have current or historic interactions with physicians. Participation will require approximately 10 minutes and consists of taking two online surveys.
