Research Coordinator Position - MGH/Harvard Medical School - position starts summer 2020

News Date: Saturday, December 14, 2019 - 11:45

The Recovery Research Institute (RRI) within the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Department of Psychiatry is seeking to recruit a full time Research Coordinator II (RC). The RC will help coordinate multiple studies, which focus on the use of positive psychology to support smoking cessation in different populations.  Mobile technologies will be used in all studies (e.g., text-messaging, smartphone app), and thus familiarity with and interest in mobile technologies for health behavior change is preferred.  The RC will be responsible for a variety of study tasks, including participant management (e.g., recruitment, enrollment, and follow-ups), correspondence with the Institutional Review Board (IRB), study data management, and assistance with grant administration and submissions.  The ideal applicant demonstrates initiative, flexibility, and an independent work ethic.  This individual will be joining an established team of faculty and staff, including other research coordinators.  Good communication skills and an affinity for teamwork are critical.  RRI Associate Director of Research, Dr. Bettina Hoeppner, will supervise and support all RC activities.
