Postdoctoral Fellowship at University of North Texas Health Science Center

The STARR (Studying Alcohol and Related Risks) Lab (https://www.unthsc.edu/school-of-public-health/starr/) in the School of Public Health at the University of North Texas Health Science Center seeks applications for a postdoctoral fellow position starting in the spring or summer of 2019. The postdoctoral fellow would be working directly with Drs. Melissa Lewis and Dana Litt on multiple federally funded grants focused on the etiology and prevention of adolescent and young adult alcohol use and related risk.  
 
The postdoctoral fellow will have the opportunity to closely work with a large interdisciplinary team of experts. The fellow will be an integral member of the scientific team and will be encouraged to take the lead and collaborate on publications. Individuals with training in social, clinical or health psychology, public health, prevention research, quantitative psychology, biostatistics, or related areas are encouraged to apply. 

We are particularly interested in candidates who have knowledge of the drinking literature and proficiency in data management and data analyses (zero-inflated regression, generalized linear mixed models, hierarchical linear modeling) as well as 3) proficiency in SPSS, SAS, STATA, R, and/or Mplus. Applicants who wish to gain experience with ecological momentary assessment, web-based data administration, mHealth interventions, and grant preparation and administration are encouraged to apply.
