Post-Doc Position at Connecticut Children's Medical Center

Connecticut Children’s Medical Center is accepting applications for a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Center of Behavioral Health. We are especially interested in candidates with a developmental psychology background and research interests in adolescent health and development. The Post-doctoral Fellow will be expected to develop their own program of research and collaborate with other investigators at Connecticut Children’s. Collaborative opportunities also exist with the University of Connecticut Health Center, the main campus of the University of Connecticut, and the University of Connecticut School of Social work.

The fellowship will provide experience in grantsmanship, project management, and manuscript preparation through collaborative work on research projects focused on adolescence and emerging adulthood, access to workshops and seminars in advanced methodology and statistics, and funds for conference travel. Interested candidates must complete an online application, including a cover letter, a statement of research interests, a CV, and at least three letters of recommendation. Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in developmental psychology, human development and family studies, or a related field
  • Prefer experience with advanced statistical modeling (e.g., SEM, HLM, growth curve modeling, time-varying effect modeling, latent class analysis)
