The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurobiology at the University of Alabama (UAB) School of Medicine seeks multiple full-time faculty positions for a licensed, or Alabama license eligible, Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist in the Division of Adult Psychiatry. Rank, tenure status and salary are commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The ideal candidate will have experience providing evidence-based interventions with a broad range of psychiatric disorders in adults 18 and older. The UAB Department of Psychiatry invites applications for a full-time faculty position for a doctoral level clinical psychologist and/or clinical neuropsychologist in the Adult Division. The position is classified as a Clinician-Educator, faculty appointment within the School of Medicine. Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications. The ideal candidate will have experience providing evidence-based interventions with a broad range of psychiatric disorders in adults 18 and older. Clinical work will include some combination of assessments and intervention based on training and specific interest. Applicants with an interest in behavioral medicine are welcome to apply. Psychologists in the Department of Psychiatry are expected to provide supervision of graduate students, psychology interns, and psychiatry residents and fellows as part of their educational role.
