Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Tobacco Regulatory Science at the Medical University of South Carolina
The Medical University of South Carolina and Hollings Cancer Center are recruiting a postdoctoral fellow in tobacco regulatory science. The initial appointment is for 2 years, with the ability to renew for subsequent years dependent on progress. The research fellow will work under the direction and mentorship of Dr. Tracy Smith, and should have research interests that align with a focus on tobacco regulation. The selected postdoc will work with Dr. Smith to develop independent research projects. The candidate will collaborate with a strong group of tobacco researchers at MUSC. The fellow will receive support and be encouraged to develop their own grant applications (e.g., K series or institutional research grants). A fully remote position is not possible at this time. Additional activities will be determined by the fellow and Dr. Smith. A PhD in Psychology, Public Health, or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will have a record of research productivity and strong references. Interested candidates should send a cover letter, CV, and list of potential references to Tracy Smith, PhD (smithtra@musc.edu). The cover letter should include a description of your research interests.
