The University of Georgia is conducting a National Search for the Executive Director of the new David Ralston Institute for Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. This is a new position funded by the state of Georgia. The Ralston Institute incorporates a University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities which has engaged in high quality education, community service, research, and information dissemination for over 50 years. The Ralston Institute provides the Executive Director with the opportunity to build on the excellent work of this center related to people with developmental disabilities and to develop new, innovative education, research, and outreach initiatives in behavioral health. The institute seeks to develop new projects on behavioral health, including supporting and enhancing the behavioral health workforce, working at the intersection of criminal justice and behavioral health, and Opioids.
