Special issue on sleep & addiction
Addictive Behaviors

Given the large public health cost of addictive behaviors and their comorbidity with sleep disturbance, we invite submissions for a special issue of Addictive Behaviors that focuses on the interplay of sleep and addiction in a variety of populations. Papers that inform intervention efforts, enhance understanding of mechanisms of behavior change, parse between- from within-person effects, and include diverse populations are especially encouraged. Priority will be given to empirical full-length (<3500 words) and short communications (<2000 words), although a broad range of papers (including meta-analysis, systematic review, and theoretical) will also be considered.
Submission deadline: February 17, 2022
When submitting, select article type “VSI: Sleep & Addiction.” Papers will be published online as they are accepted.
