We’re hiring! Assistant Project Coordinator position with the JEAP Initiative and HEAL Connections

We are seeking an Assistant Project Coordinator (APC) to join our team! You will work closely with the Project Coordinators, other staff, and Scientists to assist in the coordination of several National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded projects, including the JEAP Initiative and HEAL Connections. The APC will be responsible for a mix of research and administrative work. This may include assisting with new grant proposals and annual reports, assisting with training for other staff, implementing administrative procedures and policies, assisting the project coordinator with day-to-day operations, communicating with external collaborators and individuals, assisting in the implementation of study designs, and other research and administrative tasks as needed. 
  
Specifically, this APC, in addition to the above responsibilities, will help support the formation and functioning of several nationwide Community Boards made up of individuals in recovery from substance use disorder, individuals with pain conditions, and providers of recovery support services. This support will include recruitment and formation of several new Community Boards, coordinating and supporting Community Board meetings, communicating with Board members, and other related tasks. Apply here. Retweet this opportunity here

This position may be conducted remotely, depending on the applicant. Applicants must reside in one of the following states: California, Washington, Oregon, Michigan, Connecticut, Texas, South Carolina, and New Mexico. 

Preferred qualifications include lived experience with recovery from substance use, involvement with the justice system, or involvement with other public systems. Applicants from underrepresented populations, as defined by NIH, are strongly encouraged to apply.
