DIS+SAM training scheduled for April 13, 14, and 15, 2021!
The DIS+SAM, a fully structured questionnaire designed to ascertain the presence or absence of major psychiatric disorders as outlined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th Edition (DSM-5), has been recently updated and is available for immediate use with its computerized access and scoring algorithms. It is:
· True to DSM-5 classifications
· Able to assess the most common mental health conditions
· Useful for both clinical and research applications
· Customizable for assessing only the disorders of interest
Training is required for those using the DIS-5 for the first time and for persons who want a refresher. License holders and their staff members or designated interviewers should participate. Training will be completed online, via Zoom.
Training is included in the cost of the DIS+SAM license. Training can be completed without a license for $500, or by agreement.
