University of North Carolina Wilmingto Seeking Tenure-Track Assistant Professor

The Department of Psychology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Clinical Psychology beginning in August 2020. Faculty will serve as Director of the General Psychology Training Clinic. Teaching responsibilities will include supervision of general clinical doctoral students engaged in assessment and psychotherapy activities with clients at the clinic and could include related courses.

Applicants should have a doctoral degree and internship from APA accredited programs, with experience in clinic administration and the ability to establish an independent program of research. All applicants should show excellence in teaching and clinical supervision.

A clinical and research focus in psychological assessment is preferred. Preference will be given to applicants whose research program has existing or strong potential for extramural funding, including synergistic research conducted through the clinic.

The UNCW clinical program emphasizes the integration of science and practice and values basic and applied research on human behavior across the life span.
