Tenure Track Associate/Full Professor position at University of Nevada Reno

Job Description: The Department of Psychology at the University of Nevada Reno invites applications for a tenure-track Associate Professor or Professor position in our APA-accredited Clinical Psychology Graduate Program (https://www.unr.edu/psychology). The program has been accredited since 1972 and is currently accredited through 2028.
Area of research specialization is open. The successful candidate will have a cognitive-behavioral or clinical science orientation, a commitment to training students in evidence-based treatments and assessments, and experience mentoring students from underrepresented backgrounds. The successful candidate will also serve as Director of our in-house training clinic, the Psychological Services Center.
The Clinical Psychology Graduate Program at the University of Nevada, Reno, is a part of the Department of Psychology in the College of Science. The program currently has seven full-time faculty. Members of the faculty conduct research at UNR and with community partners such as Renown Regional Medical Center and the VA Sierra Nevada Healthcare System. The clinical program provides clinical training and conducts clinical research in an in-house Psychological Services Center (https://www.unr.edu/psychology/psychological-services). The Department has strong programs in Cognitive & Brain Science and Behavior Analysis, and collaboration across program areas is encouraged.

Required Qualifications: PhD in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Science; completion of an APA-accredited internship; interest and/or experience in directing a training clinic; substantial experience supervising clinical doctoral students; licensed or license-eligible in Nevada; and record of excellence in research, teaching, and service that supports appointment and tenure at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor at an R1 institution.
