Staff Psychologist, Addiction Treatment Programs,

Behavioral Health Service

We are recruiting a staff psychologist to serve on our Addiction Treatment Programs (ATP) interdisciplinary team at our main facility in Columbia. Truman VA offers a range of general and specialty medical services and is classified as a level 1C facility. The ATP Psychologist position is embedded in the Behavioral Health Service and provides a range of psychological services for Veterans with substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions, including PTSD. Truman VA offers both outpatient and residential substance use disorder treatment, and our 14-bed residential program specializes in third wave behavioral approaches to SUD treatment, including mindfulness-based relapse prevention. This position works closely with various disciplines and programs to provide highly coordinated comprehensive care for Veterans. The ATP Psychologist will provide assessment and treatment services at both outpatient and residential levels of care, with opportunities to specialize based on provider preference and expertise.
