The abstract submission deadline for the InWomen's International Group Virtual conference is fast approaching. The deadline is February 5, 2021 at 11:59pm EST.
Abstracts for 5-minute oral presentations are being solicited in lieu of posters.
Panel II will also welcome oral presentations from a select number of early-career investigators with high-quality abstracts based on the following criteria:
(1) Adheres to the InWomen's mission, focus, and 2021 theme;
(2) Contains a gender and substance use component or focus;
(3) Is well written and follows format guidelines and;
(4) Is focused on a critical topic
All abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the InWomen's Abstract Review Committee.
2021 Theme: Context, Culture, & Intersectionality: Barriers and Challenges Facing Women with Substance Use Disorders Globally
The COVID-19 pandemic has propelled social determinants of health as critical to accessing health services including substance use treatment for women. InWomen’s 2021 will focus on barriers and challenges related to context, culture, and intersectionality that women with substance use disorders experience globally and innovative solutions to overcome them.
