Registration is open for the 2020 APPA Annual Meeting

News Date: Tuesday, September 17, 2019 - 17:00

The American Psychopathological Association (APPA) is pleased to announce its 2020 Annual Meeting, "Substance Use, Substance Use Disorders: Changing Concepts, Changing Patterns", March 5-7, 2020 in New York City. Please see the program schedule for the list of distinguished speakers on March 5-7. The topics range widely, including cutting-edge talks and discussion on neuroscience, treatment, epidemiology, policy, and others. The 2020 meeting also includes the annual half-day workshop for trainees and faculty on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, to which all conference attendees are also invited.

The meeting will take place at the Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan. To register, please visit the registration page for rate information and accommodation details. Early registration provides substantial discounts, and special registration rates are available for students.

APPA conference attendees range from graduate students to early-stage, mid-stage and senior investigators and clinicians. An important APPA function is to provide a forum for high level professional and social contact between established investigators, younger researchers, interested clinicians, and trainees.

The meeting provides many exciting opportunities for early career investigators to present their work, network, and meet senior scientists, including a poster session. Registration and abstract submission/notification timelines for the meeting have all been moved up to allow more time to register at the lowest rates! See the timeline of key milestones leading up to the meeting below and on the appassn.org web site.

If you have any questions or need additional information, please email registration@appassn.org. We look forward to seeing you in New York City in March 2020!
