Quantitative Postdoc at Brown

Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Clinical Psychology Training Programs at Brown: A Consortium of the Providence VA Medical Center, Lifespan, and Care New England, offers a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Behavioral Medicine and Addictions Research – Quantitative Methods Focus.  This Research Fellowship Program (RFP) postdoctoral fellowship is located in the Behavioral Medicine and Addictions Research (BMAR) Group at Butler Hospital in Providence, RI.  

 

Supervisors for this fellowship include Drs. Ana Abrantes and Lisa Uebelacker, who co-direct BMAR. Additional supervisors include Drs. Rich Jones and Leslie Brick, who lead the Quantitative Sciences Program in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior. Fellowship aims focus on post-doctoral research and clinical training in the area of addictive behaviors and physical activity including yoga-based interventions, as well as broad training in the area of advanced quantitative methods applied in research in mental health and clinical neurosciences. We expect the fellow to gain a strong working knowledge of the role of a statistical or methodological collaborator in applied research. The fellow will actively participate in research, including proposal writing, data management and analysis, development and implementation of research protocols, and manuscript writing and presentations.
