Job purpose
Freedom Institute, is a renowned, nonprofit, OASAS licensed, outpatient program in midtown
Manhattan, treating substance-abuse disorders through a unique combination of Dialectical
Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Relational Family Therapy (RFT). Freedom Institute is seeking to
hire a full-time or part time, licensed, Psychologist. The purpose of this director level position in
the Freedom Institute is to provide planning and oversight of growth of new programming. This
position will also assist with oversight and management of current programming in conjunction
with the Director of Clinical Services as needed. The director will interface with internal and
external stakeholders to ensure safe, client centered, evidence-based, and high-quality program
delivery.
