The Centre of Excellence in Responsible Gaming (CERG) at the University of Gibraltar is seeking to recruit investigators at different stage of their academic carrier with research interests in gambling behaviour, which may include studying the etiology of problematic gambling and gambling disorder, understanding the mechanisms of gambling related risks and harm, developing assessment tools to measure individual, familial or societal harm related to gambling, developing and evaluating interventions that might reduce harm related to these behaviours. While these positions directly focus on the study of gambling behaviour, research interest and experience in other technology related problem behaviours (e.g., problematic video game use) could be an advantage. Further requirements and expected qualifications are specified according to the positions and are available to download at www.unigib.edu.gi/vacancies/. The successful candidates will become key members of the CERG and will be expected to participate in and lead both independent and collaborative research programs focusing on the study of gambling related harm. The successful candidates must be able to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and diverse populations.
