ISBRA Young Investigator Travel Award Announcement

September 9-13, 2018, Kyoto, Japan
Junior Investigator Awards
 
For the 2018 ISBRA Congress, there will be an opportunity for several Junior Investigator Awards supported from the International Society for Biomedical Research on Alcoholism (ISBRA).
 
The Award includes a plaque and a check for $1000 USD. The money must be used as travel support for the 2018 World Congress in Kyoto. Awards will be limited to young investigators (either PhD/MD students or young post-docs/physicians). PhD/MD student awardees will present a poster and post-doc awardees will give a brief oral presentation at the Young Investigator Symposium Lunch.
 
Award applications will be accepted through the ISBRA website:www.isbra.com/awards/young_investigator/
 
APPLICATION INCLUDES: 
1)      A copy of your original abstract – please indicate if you will be presenting a poster or an oral presentation.
2)      A current CV and list of publications.
3)      A letter from your mentor verifying that at the time of the meeting in September, you are a current graduate/medical student, or you will be less than 5 years post terminal degree for a PhD, MD, etc. 
 
Deadline for the Junior Investigator Award application is May 31, 2018.
