There has been considerable interest expressed in having Division 50 create and publish its own new in-house journal, given that ownership of Psychology of Addictive Behaviors moves to APA in 2024. We are assembling a workgroup to map out the project and timeline to found this new journal, and are looking for interested Division 50 members who would like to be part of this workgroup. If you would like to be considered for workgroup membership, please send me an e-mail with your updated CV attached by this Friday, July 29th.
As an additional note, we want to ensure that BIPOC and non cis-male voices are present on the founding committee, so if you belong to one of these groups we would be particularly interested in hearing from you!
