Dear Graduate Students,
This is the last reminder that the APA Division 50 (The Society of Addiction Psychology) is seeking a motivated individual to fill one of two student representative positions on the Executive Board.
The elected graduate student will serve a two year term beginning in August 2019. Eligible candidates should 1) be currently enrolled in a doctoral program in psychology or related field, 2) have at least two years remaining in their program, and 3) be a student member of Division 50.
Student representatives will participate in monthly Division 50 conference calls, assist with organizing social events at CPA and APA, review Student Research Grants, and assist in the management of various Division 50 tasks.
If interested, please send your CV and a brief letter of intent (1-2 pages single-spaced) summarizing your reasons for seeking the position of student representative and your interests in addiction to jcris024@fiu.edu. Please send applications by 11:59 pm on Friday June 14, 2019 (this Friday).
