Attention Division 50 graduate student and post-baccalaureate affiliate members (and any advisors working with folx in this capacity)!
The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee of the Society for Addiction Psychology has created a recognition award to be provided to a current Division 50 graduate student or post-baccalaureate affiliate member who has had their abstract (poster or presentation) accepted as first author at the upcoming annual APA conference in August 2021.
This award recognizes graduate student members and/or post-baccalaureate affiliates of the Society of Addiction Psychology who have made outstanding scholarly contributions to equity and social justice in the field of addiction psychology.
One awardee will be selected per year. The awardee will be publicly recognized at the APA annual convention, receive a certificate for their achievement, and an honorarium in the amount of $250.
