Telehealth and Substance Use Disorder Treatment

Description
This session will focus on the evolving role of telehealth in substance use disorder care. Dr. Lin will present research examining the effectiveness of different telehealth modalities on treatment use and outcomes and incorporate the perspectives of patients and clinicians. Finally, Dr. Lin will discuss how telehealth continues to evolve and broader issues around improving access to substance use disorder care.
Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to:
Identify treatment gaps and barriers/facilitators to care for people with substance use disorders (SUDs)
Explain current evidence on telehealth approaches to increasing and improving outcomes for patients with SUDs
Describe impacts of COVID-19 on SUD telehealth policies and on SUD medication and psychotherapy treatment
Discuss innovations in models of telehealth and considerations for telehealth-delivered SUD care in order to improve treatment COVID-19 and beyond

When on “My Events”page, click the "Access Event" button by the event.
Assuming you met the attendance requirement for CE, a link to the evaluation will be sent to the email on file with your TPN.health account within 24 hours after a session ends. This link will take you directly to the Evaluations page where you can complete the evaluation and obtain your CE certificate.
