Dear SoAP Members,
We hope you are as excited about the 2022 APA Convention as we are! The Convention will take place August 4-6 in Minneapolis, MN.
Please find attached a brochure that summarizes our program highlights! Check out the official APA schedule for the most up to date information on date/ location of these events.
One of our highlighted events is our very own Division 50 Social Hour that will take place on Thursday, August 4th from 5:30-7:30 at TIES rooftop (921 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55402). There will be free hor d'oeuvres and a cash bar. This casual social event is an excellent way to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones. Feel free to bring a friend who may be interested in joining the Division.
Additionally, see the attached flyer for our Early Career Investigators Poster Session and Social Hour. SoAP is proud to sponsor two poster sessions at the Convention, including the Early Career Investigators Poster Session and Social Hour featuring up-to-date research on a broad range of addictive behaviors. This event is cosponsored by SoAP, Division 28 (Psychopharmacology and Substance Abuse) and NIH. There will be catered food, and the event is followed by a social hour hosted by Div 28 at the Union Rooftop hotel (731 Hennepin Ave Suite 1, Minneapolis, MN 55403).
